This September, the Redland Foundation partnered with HomeAid Colorado to coordinate the Semi-Annual Community Day. We visited BeyondHome, a charitable organization in Arvada that has done a phenomenal job of helping families get back on their feet. Community Day traditionally calls upon volunteers to gather for one full day to assist a partner charity.

Volunteers met bright and early at BeyondHome to begin their assigned projects. Tasks ranged from parking lot maintenance, painting homes and demo/cleanup. BeyondHome is a community that focuses on providing transitional housing for families in order to create sustainable change. These homes are being refreshed and re-done throughout the year and our volunteers were able to provide quality work on several of them. It was a great opportunity to work with a new partner charity and help make an impact for a local community, we look forward to working with BeyondHome again in the future.
