Redland is excited to announce the beginning of the Redland Foundation. A 501(c)(3) charitable organization in Redland’s namesake that will continue to carry out the values the company has held since its inception. Through donation and service, the Redland Foundation’s mission focuses on the effort to help the lives of children and their families. The Redland Foundation was first revealed at the 14th Annual Redland Open House event.
Redland President, Chris Pangburn, expressed his excitement for the Foundation and introduced the Board of Directors (Deidra Gonzales, Brian Hart, Mike Pietschmann, Redd Ferguson, Josie O’Connor, Jared MacDonald).
“For many years I’ve dreamed about starting our own charity that would engage the “built” community and now that dream has come true… The Board’s main objective over the next year will be to raise money, get physically involved in community projects, and identify organizations in need with similar goals to partner with.”
In its first act of charity, the Foundation donated $5,000 to Third Way Center. Third Way Center helps at-risk young adults with housing, education, treatment, and much more. Third Way Center representatives Heidi Coughlin and Sally Reed were in attendance to receive the donation.
The Redland Foundation will continue to support causes like the Third Way Center along with others within the community. The Foundation looks to be fully operational in 2023 and will continue to make an impact in the future.
