The Redland team took a break from our usual landscape architecture, land planning, and civil engineering services to lend a hand in our community.
Several times a year, Redland staff volunteer with local nonprofits. This April, we returned to Food For Thought (FFT), a Denver nonprofit that strives to eliminate student hunger outside the classroom by providing weekend meals for children who live in families that are at-or-below the poverty level. These students rely on school-provided lunches during the week, but often do not receive adequate nourishment over the weekend. The FFT weekend meals, which they call “PowerSacks”, provide essential weekend nutrition for these students.
